ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING 2025–2026 SPRING SEMESTER
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
GRADUATE (MASTER’S – PHD) APPLICATIONS
Dear Applicants,
Applications for Master’s and PhD programs for international students have commenced via luyos.karabuk.edu.tr
The application and registration processes are limited to the period between January 15 and March 31, in accordance with the decision of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates who receive admission must complete their registration within the date range specified in their letter of acceptance.
Applications will be evaluated within the framework of the specific requirements of each department, which are available in the application system. Candidates who do not meet the specified requirements will not be registered, even if they have received admission.
Documents Required for Registration in Master’s Programs

Original Bachelor’s degree diploma

Turkish translation of the Bachelor’s diploma (for diplomas obtained outside Türkiye)
Accepted translations:
-
Diploma Equivalence Certificate issued by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) for all health-related fields; Recognition Certificate issued by YÖK for other fields

Original passport
-
Passport translation
Accepted translations:
-
Two (2) photographs taken within the last six months
-
For candidates studying with a government scholarship, a document indicating scholarship status
-
Turkish language proficiency certificate, if available
(The validity of the certificate must be confirmed by Karabük University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center.)

Foreign language proficiency certificate, if available
(Candidates whose native language is English are not required to submit a foreign language certificate.)

Residence Permit Document, if available

IMPORTANT NOTES

Applications of candidates who hold Turkish citizenship (including dual nationals whose one nationality is Turkish) will be considered invalid.

Candidates may apply to only one (1) department.

Applications will be considered invalid if more than one account is created for the same person in the application system or if applications are submitted to more than one department.

To make revisions to the information and documents in the application system, a request for update must be submitted through the system.

Candidates will follow their application results via the online application system (luyos.karabuk.edu.tr), and acceptance letters will be obtained through the system.

The registration of candidates who are found to have submitted false or misleading information or documents will not be completed; if registration has already been completed, it will be cancelled.

Candidates who register with a temporary graduation certificate must submit the originals and certified translations of their graduation diploma and transcript to the Coordination Office within two (2) months from the date of registration.
